Where the economies are

Leather Belts When we first started selling digital imaging we thought that people would immediately understand that digital imaging was about time not quality. What we originally found is that there was a perception that digital imaging must be somehow "less" than conventional imaging. Lower priced and lower quality.

When you review our portfolio we have purposely not stated which shots are digital and which are conventional images. This is done because, when applicable, there is no difference between digital imaging and conventional imaging.

Digital imaging is currently enjoying a lot of media hype but you must always keep this in mind: There is no cost savings between digital and conventional imaging in the single shot arena. There are no savings in the photo arena at all. Where you will experience your savings is when you do not have to take your shots to the separator for inscans.

Case Studies

Tennis Shoes We were able to save one major shoe manufacturer over $20,000 by shooting hundreds of pairs of shoes digitally so that he didn't have to inscan all those shoe transparencies. This savings alone can quickly explain the true savings available from digital imaging.

The following is another type of job which has proven to be absolutely perfect for digital imaging. We did 66 photographs for a 28 page book and printed 10,000 copies. This was all done within three weeks from start to finish. The reality was no sleep, competent talent and a lot of coffee - all that plus digital imaging made the competitive difference.
